I have a 10.7.5 laptop with 12.2.2 installed, today i went to update my wires 6s to iOS 10 using the option keep in dfu mode, got about 60% and error 1. so i tried 9.3.5 on the iTunes 12.2.2 .error 1 as well...i feel horrible about this situation as she is a busy woman and uses her phone for work so i gave her mine. but this blows my mind....error 1? phone is fine ..no jailbreaks or anything.... this doesn't make sense.
You will need the latest computer iTunes 12.5.1

Well you can't without OS X and iTunes version. Make a genius bar appointment for help or use a friend computer.
i know they will charge us a bit, best bet is just get rid of the mac for a pic 😟

I just don't understand why a family needs to buy a new laptop just to utilize iTunes. i'm going to find a way around this via Macpostfactor. this is dumb...i can use a windows computer from 15 years ago and still be able to use iTunes..
